The Klever XChange H031O is a safety level 3 BoxCutter with a concealed blade and protective hook. Finger contact with the blade is not possible before, during or after the cut.
The housing is made of high-quality glass-fibre-reinforced plastic with an all-round SoftGrip for a secure hold. The particularly ergonomic design sits comfortably in the hand even during frequent cutting – the knife is therefore designed for frequent use of up to 1,000 cuts per day.
The knife is suitable directly for right- and left-handed users, without any conversion. At only 34 g it is also a featherweight – barely noticeable, ideal for everyday use on the belt or on the eyelet.
The Klever XChange H031O is particularly suitable for adhesive tape, strapping (PP and PET) and stretch film – typical cutting tasks in logistics and retail. It can also be used reliably for cords and PVC film. For more, see our safety knives overview.

Choose the right head for the cutting task: standard for general applications, wide head for thicker cardboard, Extra Duty for longer edge life and hook blade for sacks and PVC. The Klever XChange is also available as the H032O with a pre-installed wide head K002 – for applications that require thicker cutting materials or a larger blade gap of 7.6 mm. Both variants use the same XChange system and are compatible with all blade heads.

The blade change on the Klever XChange H031O takes less than 6 seconds without tools: press the black button, pull the blade head out towards the front, insert the new blade head and push it in until it clicks audibly. Special feature: four different blade heads are available – K001 (standard), K002 (wide head), K002XD (Extra Duty) and K003 (hook blade).
Yes, the Klever XChange H031O is designed directly for right- and left-handed users – without conversion or adjustment. The protective hook and the controls are symmetrical, so the knife can be guided equally safely and comfortably in either hand.
The Klever XChange H031O achieves safety level 3 – the highest level in the industry standard. This means the protective hook is always in front of the blade, regardless of cutting angle or cutting position. A cut injury is ruled out by the design – even when pulling the knife out of a pocket or if it slips.
The Klever XChange H031O is particularly suitable for adhesive tape, strapping (PP and PET) and stretch film – typical materials in logistics and retail. For very high daily cut counts we recommend the CB100 as an alternative, which offers a considerably longer edge life. The H031O is also suitable for cords, PVC film and light cartons.
