Reinforced | Smooth-Kut technology | wide opening
This replacement blade is the reinforced version of the wide-head blade. According to the manufacturer it is 50 % more stable and lasts up to 4 times longer than comparable cutters. The Smooth-Kut technology is intended to prevent corrugated board from clogging the blade. According to the manufacturer it is suitable for octabins (“Gaylords”), cartons, film, adhesive tape and plastic strapping.
The blade is made of carbon steel, is uncoated and ground on both sides with a double bevel. It is 50 mm long, 38 mm high and 4 mm thick, the cutting depth is 6 mm; it can be used once. It fits two knives in our range. 10 pieces are supplied; the manufacturer is Klever. You will find further types in the overview of cutter knife blades.
