Secupro Maxisafe – fully automatic blade retraction, robust GRP

for frequent use | large 3-sided slider | GS-tested safety

The Secupro Maxisafe is a proven fully automatic knife for everyday universal use in warehouses and logistics: as soon as the slider is released or the blade meets resistance, it retracts into the housing by itself (safety level 2, fully automatic blade retraction). The sensitive trigger threshold responds even to the slightest resistance. The GRP housing withstands even hard continuous use, at only 66 g the knife sits comfortably in the hand, and a GS certificate confirms the tested safety. The Maxisafe is therefore aimed at safety officers and logistics managers looking for a robust, branded standard knife for universal use. Safety knives overview

Highlights

  • Very high occupational safety: fully automatic blade retraction (safety level 2)
  • Dirt-tolerant opening: wide blade gap at the front also takes thicker, multi-ply or dirty materials
  • Long service life: protective metal cap on the housing head withstands hard contact and impact
  • Tool-free blade change: replace the blade without tools using the blue release button – step by step in the downloadable instructions
  • Can be operated from both sides: 3-sided thumb slider can be actuated from the right, left and top, with no conversion for left-handed users

In the knife know-how section we show you at a glance how the Secupro Maxisafe performs in the most important respects: from the safety mechanism and grip quality to blade performance. Further features

Safety

Without snap-off segments
Continuous blade without predetermined breaking points, no risk of a segment breaking off uncontrolled.
Rounded tip
Prevents puncture injuries without limiting the cutting performance of the blade edge. Particularly relevant for overhead or blind work.
Few mounting holes
Fewer blade mounting holes mean fewer predetermined breaking points under lateral force, and a lower risk of uncontrolled breakage.

Handle & ergonomics

Left- and right-handed
Can be used with either hand, with or without conversion depending on the model, equally suitable for left- and right-handed users.
Large slider
Generously sized, can be operated safely and over a large area, even with gloves.
Smooth-running slider
Operates with little effort, noticeably more comfortable with frequent use.
Weight < 100 g
Noticeably lighter than all-metal knives without giving up stability. Comfortable with frequent, repeated use throughout the day. This model weighs 66 g.

Blade

Premium carbon steel
Refined alloy with even better edge retention, for particularly demanding continuous use.
Uncoated
Constant basic sharpness without coating wear, cost-efficient and proven. The most economical choice for standard applications.
High initial sharpness
Especially sharp from the first cut, ideal when maximum cutting performance is needed immediately.
Long edge life
Much longer service life until the next blade change than standard blades. Reduces change intervals and blade consumption in intensive use.

Special features

Wide housing opening
The generously sized opening makes blade changes easier, even with gloves.
Tool-free blade change
Insert a new blade without tools, done in seconds.
Eyelet
For attaching to a belt, carabiner or lanyard so the knife stays within easy reach.
Knife type: safety knife
Safety knives are designed for continuous professional use — usually with an automatic or manual blade guard that prevents cuts when the knife is not in use. The standard choice in logistics, retail and production.

Replacement blades

The Secupro Maxisafe is supplied with a KM60099 (trapezoid blade made of premium carbon steel with a rounded tip). The knife accepts only martor trapezoid blades of the 60099 type – check compatibility when buying. Our recommendation for everyday use: KM60099 (rounded tip for maximum safety). Overview of all trapezoid blades

Alternatives

Four alternatives in the fully automatic safety knife segment: the UES44 and the UES44R (PHC Rebel) release the blade via an ergonomic squeeze-grip instead of a thumb slider. The UAS100, as a premium variant, relies on a fully automatic blade guard, and the Secupro 625 is the martor sibling of the Maxisafe with an all-metal housing.

Accessories

Complement the Secupro Maxisafe with matching accessories: collection boxes for dull blades, lanyards as a safety cord, cutting rulers for precise cuts and holsters for safe storage.
