This snap-off blade made of Japanese carbon steel has a very high initial sharpness that is noticeable from the very first cut, for example on film, paper or wallpaper, and a long edge life. The black fluorinated coating provides less friction on some materials, for example plasterboard.
The blade has 7 segments: when the tip is dull, a segment is snapped off and the blade continues cutting with a new tip. Length 100 mm, blade width 18 mm, thickness 0.5 mm, ground on both sides with a double bevel. It fits 18 mm cutter knives, for example 9 knives in our range. 10 pieces are supplied; the manufacturer is Tajima (type LCB50RBC). You will find further types in the overview of cutter knife blades.
