Dial-lock wheel | play-free blade | non-slip surface
This classic OLFA model works with a wheel (dial lock): loosen it, slide the blade to the required length, tighten it. The blade then sits in the housing without play, lengthwise as well as up and down. This allows more precise cuts, but needs both hands.
The housing has no soft grip, but it does have a non-slip surface. At 30 mm wide and 73 g it sits slimly in the hand and adapts to almost any hand. It is our recommendation if the one-handed Auto-Lock is not specifically required. The manufacturer is OLFA (Japan).
