The Slice 10514 mini automatic ceramic safety knife combines a ceramic blade with automatic, spring-loaded blade retraction in an exceptionally flat design weighing under 50 grams. The slider starts the cut noticeably smoothly – a noticeable relief for the hand, even with frequent, repeated use in daily business. The zirconium oxide blade deliberately has a safety grind with low initial sharpness: it makes the blade considerably duller than a metal blade, so that no cut injuries occur under normal force on the skin. Which materials is this knife made for — and where does it reach its limits?
Strapping made of PP or PET secures parcels and pallets. Straps under tension are cut in a defined way – an important point for occupational safety.
Sealed cartons are opened at the adhesive tape. A short, defined cutting depth cuts the tape without scoring the goods underneath.
Opening, cutting off flaps of and breaking down cartons is one of the most frequent tasks in goods receiving. Single- to triple-wall corrugated board can be cut through in a controlled manner without damaging the contents.
