Cutter knife Secubase 383 – with automatic blade retraction that can be switched off

Cutting depth 73 mm | steel rail, plastic housing | cutting depth adjustment

The martor Secubase 383 is a cutter knife of safety level 0 with automatic blade retraction that can be switched off. The blade retracts as soon as the thumb releases the slider. For cuts with a fixed blade, such as sawing cuts, it can be locked in seven positions according to the manufacturer. The knife then works like a classic cutter knife.

The housing is made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic with a steel rail, and the soft grip ensures a secure hold. The ergonomic design and the large thumb slider make operation easier. This makes the knife suitable for frequent use of up to 1,000 cuts per day.

After conversion, the knife is suitable for right- and left-handed users. The cutting depth is adjustable, you change the blade without tools, and the GS certificate confirms tested safety. At 78 g it is also light.

The Secubase 383 can be used universally, from cardboard, film and adhesive tape to strapping, but it is particularly suitable for polystyrene and foam: the fitted polystyrene blade cuts up to 73 mm deep. It is used in logistics, retail, production and the trades. You will find further models in the overview of safety knives.

Magnet for blade changes
Lets you change the blade without tools and without touching the sharp blade directly.
