Ceramic | pointed corners | safety grind
This long ceramic blade has pointed corners and is otherwise identical in construction to the blade with rounded corners. Its safety grind is designed to cut packaging material and spare the skin; in return, the initial sharpness is lower than with steel. Ceramic does not rust and stays sharp for a long time, but reacts sensitively to lateral forces, for example on curved cuts.
The blade is 120 mm long, 18 mm high and 1.3 mm thick, uncoated and ground on one side with a double bevel. It has no snap-off segments and few blade mounting holes. It fits 2 knives in our range. 4 pieces are supplied; the manufacturer is Slice (type 10539). You will find further types in the overview of cutter knife blades.
