30° tip | carbon steel | uncoated
This snap-off blade has a 30° tip for precise work, for example when the blade has to be pushed under a film. It is made of carbon steel from Japan and has 7 snap-off segments.
The blade is uncoated and ground on both sides with a double bevel. The overall length is 80 mm, the cutting edge measures 74 mm. The manufacturer is Tajima.
The angle indicates how pointed the front of the blade is. 60° is the standard. For particularly precise work, where you sometimes have to pierce under a film with the blade, blades with a 30° tip are better suited.
